High-Pressured Polyethylene Foam (PEF)
Product Introduction:
With advanced foaming production lines,
and scientific formula, the high-pressured polyethylene
foam (PEF) is produced by a mixture of high-pressured polyethylene,
burning inhibitor, foaming agent, cross linking agent, etc.
through dense and open build-up, and chemistry bridging,
making polyolefin become high polymer spongy nets, balanced
steam bubbles. This bubble structures can lead to a series
of products with the density of 20, 30, 40, and 45 respectively,
the tiny and independent air bubble structure of which are
difficult to burn and resistant to flame with 26, 28, 30,
32 oxygen indices separately.

Characters
A Good Heat Insulation Effect: Since
this foaming material is made of completely independently
closed cell structure, its thermal conductivity is only
0.038w/M.K. Not only does it have a good heat preservation
effect, but its superiority of keeping cold is more prominent.
Simple And Quick To Use: In construction, put the heat-insulated
plate or tube over the object to be heat-preserved with
glues
Long Service Life: Because of its fine properties of weather
bearing, anti-hit, and structure stability, its life span
is higher than the traditional thermal insulation materials.
Low Cost for Heat Preservation: In spite of its high investment
for the first time, its life is long, and it does not need
frequent replacement, which saves not only the materials
expenses, but also the massive labor costs. Moreover, with
its warm and cold keeping effect, energy conservation is
a long-term economy. Thus, its comprehensive heat preservation
cost is, instead, lower than other thermal insulation materials.
Condensation Resisting: With closed cell structures, this
material depends on the gas in the closed cell to insulate
heat rather than on non-polyethylene materials. Since it
has an outstanding anti-vapor ability, the innate lining
made of it is both a heat insulating layer and a steam barrier,
whose anti-wet factor μ value is bigger than other thermal
insulation materials. Thus, this material can effectively
prevent the condensation phenomenon from occurring.
Good Anti-Flame Performance: With this material, besides
the popular type, we can also use it to produce two kinds
of flame-resistant (oxygen index ≥27), anti-burning (oxygen
index ≥32) products to satisfy the different fire requests.
Moreover, this froth thermal insulation material has less
smoke toxicity compared with similar products in existence.
Weather Bearing Property: Because of its high degree of
cross-linking, and good stability, the exposure of ultraviolet
ray for 300 hours in tests doesn’t change the surface layer,
so that the service life of this material is long.
Solidity to Corrosion: This material can bear many kinds
of chemicals. After soaking, it does not distort, nor crack.
Thus, it may be widely used in the chemical pipelines, accumulator
tanks for heat preservation.
Low Temperature Resistance: Under the strong low temperature,
the structure of the material does not change, nor distort,
nor crack.
Non-Toxicity: This material does not have any virulent matter.
Under pyrolytic decomposition, it doesn’t produce noxious
gas, either.
Impact Absorption: This material is anti-hit; its impact
absorption is best of thermal insulation materials.
Other Merits: pleasing to the eye; various colors; easy
to process; easy to compound with; soft and clean; good
to the touch; light as cotton, etc.
Uses:
Heat insulation and preservation for
equipment and pipelines in industries like petroleum, chemical
industry, electric power, food and drug manufacturing, and
so on.
Heat insulation and preservation, sound and shock absorption
for railroads and trains, automobiles, ships, airplanes
and refrigeration trucks, and so on.
Heat preserving, sound absorbing, sound-insulating and quakeproof
for the expanding, contracting and sealing of roofs, wall
surfaces, central air conditioning as well as paths, windows
and doors of office, guesthouse and apartment buildings.
Packing materials for precision instrument. Materials for
home decoration, light industries, sporting goods and lifesaving
things.
